THEY CAME FROM DIMENSION X UPDATE NOTES
Update 22824
- Fixed Elder Thing sight checks. They have a unique sight check function from the rest of the enemies, but their checks were not staggered like the other enemy types. Elder Thing sight checks have been moved to an AI queue like the other enemy types. This should help out some of the machines that have experienced performance issues.
- Added gib physics calls to a batch queue as well. Unknown if gib effects were causing performance issues, but queued anyway to resolve this. A max gib amount has been set for low priority giblets (they disappear over time anyway, but may as well try to preemptively prevent issues while I'm in there).
- Fixed weapon bob glitch on elevators going up.
- Made some adjustments to func_move velocity adds in the movement code.
- Updated static geometry to use trimesh bodies, increased collision "fuzziness". Hopefully helps with performance issues some of you are reporting.
- Updated Lost One sounds. Temporary until I can find time to re-record them.
- Added "Aim Invert Y" input option for both mouse and gamepad. They're treated as separate variables.
- Added some new Console Commands / Cheats.
